A really stonking, fat pendant. 1870s in date. This is cool cos it’s always been a pendant - it’s not a brooch conversion, even though it looks like it should be. And I adore that huge screw in the back holding the layers together. It’s so machiney. (Back by the way so soooo buttery). Modelled in high carat, and pavé set with natural pearls, blue blue blue turquoise and rose cut diamonds. A big freshwater pearl is held in the quatrefoil to the centre. All haloed by a rope twist border. Weighs over 11 grams so feels really good in the hand and on the neck.
