A double sided 19th century French locket, each side set with carved out bloodstone panels in a quatrefoil design and bound in gold rope. The eagle stamp for 18ct gold (along with other stamps) found to the bale. Opens to show the back of the bloodstone. Chips/ flaws to the stone, which I believe were there from the day it was made (you couldn’t chip the inside otherwise). A smart and cool thing.
