Cool curio. OG steampunk lol. A medal for the ‘International Inventions Exhibition’ held in London, in 1885… Won by an E. Bevan, whose name is displayed on a winner’s laurel wreath. A design of gears and cogs and trumpets (to hail the new world?) is to the front. So evocative. Lovecraft vibes. Modelled in silver plated base metal. A nice chunky, durable slab that is SO ‘olde worlde’
