A darling, true Georgian piece, featuring beautifully cut diamonds and a large central ‘synthetic’ ruby (it’s not paste, it is a ruby, but even in those days they could play around with stones). It is in original condition, baring both it’s brooch pin and original pendant loop. The brooch pin extends beyond the piece - you’ll find that in many old brooches because they tucked the end of it back into their clothes, as an extra level to keep it fixed on to the cloth.
