A bold Vicky arrow brooch, with a five pointed star sat on its shaft. Very rich and yellow. A really delicious and large old cut diamond set within a pentagon acts as the focal point at the centre of the star, with rose cut diamonds and granulation filling up the rest of the space. They’ve taken lengths to make sure the old cut diamond is open back, to be as sparkly as possible. At the back it has a ring that was evidently for a safety chain, but works very well as a bale for a chain or clip. A really good and solid piece at 6 grams. Stamped at the back with 18ct (the 1 is off) and the maker’s mark W. J. J.
