Last but not least - this INSANE pendant/ brooch. Just under 30 grams, most of which is in that stonking high carat gold horse shoe frame. A fox portrait, painted by the venerated and renowned William Bishop Ford. He signed and dated it 1881. This is the largest piece I’ve ever seen by him. They’re usually stick pin size. The image was based off the ‘Fox’ (1817) by Abraham Cooper. In the Victoria and Albert there’s an engraving of Abraham Cooper’s work. This piece is in its original box, when it was retailed by Bright and Sons.
