A large Georgian maltese gold cross set with graduated, flat cut foiled garnets. Love the fact they’re square! One is chipped (I’ve included a close up pic), and there are a couple of nibbles. It was a brooch or pendant originally, and later in its life, both these elements were replaced/ added. A wonderful and solid construction
