High carat gold wire filigree creates ornate frames around these mosaic panels. I LOVE how the gold has aged to that red tone - that patina is only found in particular pieces of antique jewellery. Back to front ear wires, classic, traditional, cool. Almost poissardes in style. European stamps to the wires, presumably Italian.
